Curriculum

Our curriculum vision

Our Christian vision and associated values underpin every aspect of our curriculum. At St. Andrew’s we aim to deliver the National Curriculum in a broad and balanced way, which is enriched by a wide variety of experience. Curriculum documentation is available in school for parents to view.

Our Curriculum Vision Statement

SUCCESS FOR ALL

Our school vision statement, ‘Striving for excellence, together as one with God,’ clearly reflects the high aspirations we hold for all our children.  Our curriculum vision is to provide children with a purposeful, informative curriculum that motivates pupils, makes resilient learners, and leads to ‘success for all.’ Our adaptable curriculum will reflect current, relevant issues and challenge pupils to apply their knowledge and skills to the world around them.

Through an inclusive and diverse approach, we want our curriculum to provoke questioning, debate and informed opinions from pupils. Our curriculum will be planned and delivered using creative, enjoyable learning experiences. It will embrace and celebrate pupils’ interests and success. It will build up a breadth of knowledge and a set of Christian values that children will remember and revisit as they continue their lifelong learning journey.
