Hi guys, hope you all had a great Easter weekend…did the Easter bunny leave some treats at your houses?

This week I thought it would be a good idea to make homemade playdough. The ingredients are things that you will most probably already have. Once you have made the playdough you can use it all week for various activities. I will upload different playdough activities throughout the week.

Here is the recipe…

For maths show your child a number and roll the correct amount of playdough balls to match it.

For phonics this week please write two sets of these letters on paper (s,a,t,p,i,n), and play a matching game. Turn the letters over and each person tries to match the match the letters. If you find a matching pair you keep it. During the activity discuss the sounds that you find.

If the weather is nice go outdoors on a bug hunt. You can find a tick list bug hunt sheet online or simply make your own by drawing different bugs and ticking them off.

Hope the activities are useful and i will set some more tomorrow 🙂
