Hi everyone! As it is soon approaching Easter I have decided to put on some Easter themed activities. I hope you all joined in with the clapping last night too 🙂

If you have any, hide different shapes in hollow eggs and go on a shape hunt. Your child will love finding the eggs and opening them!

I thought making an ‘Easter Sock Bunny’ would be alot of fun and everything needed to make it is most probably in your house. All you need to do is put rice in an old sock and draw a face on!

Here is an easy craft activity to do at home for Easter. Let your child design an empty egg carton and stick straws on for the stem. The finishing product will be a beautiful Easter flower.

For phonics i thought it would be good to find some stones or pebbles or even leaves and write the sounds ‘s,a,t,p,i,n’ on, then make up words using the different letters, sound out the letters and blend them together.

I hope you have a great Easter weekend!

Stay safe and I miss all the children lots!

Miss Smith
