Year 6 – planned trips in the Autumn Term

Hello,

The children are really excited and are looking forward to our Autumn term educational visits. Consent letters will be sent out this week for you to sign and return to school.

The Year 6 planned trips are as follows:

Den building at Blackleach Country Park – Wednesday 12th October 2016

Children don’t need to wear their uniform on this day. Dress your child appropriate to the weather on that day. It could be very muddy and wet, so old clothes and firm boots etc. would be perfect. The children will need a packed lunch either from home or ordered through school, as the children will eat their lunches in their dens.

London – Houses of Parliament & London Eye – Tuesday 13th December 2016

The children will be attending a workshop at the Education Centre at the Houses of Parliament, followed by a tour. As we are travelling by coach, this will be an early start with the coach scheduled to leave at 6:30 a.m. we are scheduled to leave Westminster at 5:30 p.m. so depending on traffic we should be returning to school at around 10:00-10:30 p.m.

Can I ask that you sign your consent forms and return to school with the £5.00 deposit before the end of September; this will enable me to book the London Eye.

If, in the meantime, you have any further questions please don’t hesitate to contact school.

Thank you for your support,

Mrs E. Hodgkinson
