Year 6 Maple’s Homework
Both Mrs Fortune and Mrs Hall want to say that Year 6’s homework this week was excellent on SeeSaw. All the children completed it to an excellent standard, and the presentation brilliant doing it on paper first, then taking a photograph.
This week we have set a reading comprehension and some work on column subtraction, which we have continued to practise throughout the week through a range of tricky problem solving (The children have shown real drive and perseverance during these lessons!)
In addition this week and to continue to encourage reading for pleasure, we have set a home reading task. We would love to listen to the children read their school reading book aloud. They can either video themselves doing this, someone can video them or they can record their voice.
