Year 6 London trip

Year 6 had a fantastic time on our amazing trip to London. The day started very early, with the coach leaving at 6.30 a.m. Everyone enjoyed the journey, with lots of games and on-board activities. Our first stop was at the London Eye, we were split into two ‘pods’ and had a guided flight.

Later, we walked over Westminster Bridge to the Houses of Parliament, where we attended a educational workshop called ‘People’s Parliament’. This was amazing, as we saw debates in both House of Commons and the House of Lords. We even saw Boris Johnson.

At the end of our visit our local M.P. Barbara Keeley came along to meet us. The children asked lots of interesting questions about her role as M.P. and what that involved.
