This morning in Y1 and Year 2, we celebrated European Languages Day. We transformed our Y2 classroom into Greece and Year 1 transformed into Spain….
We had lots of fun travelling to the two countries…
In Greece we learnt how to say the colours of the rainbow in Greek… then we made our very own traditional Greek worry beads- ‘kombolio’, using thread and beads. Greek music played as we designed our masterpieces, of course!
We ended the day with some Greek food tasting- our very own Greek Mrs Mason very kindly baked us a batch of tasty Greek style biscuits! Thank you Mrs Mason they were delicious!!!
