Welcome to Reception! Welcome back to St. Andrew’s to all who attended our Nursery and welcome to our new families joining the school!
I hope you have all had a lovely summer. Your children have settled in beautifully to their new class (even if they may like to kid you otherwise with a few tears in the morning!!). I am so pleased with how well everybody has taken to their new learning environment and I can tell we are going to have a fab year!
As I’m sure you aware, over the past week we have been sharing our ‘all about me’ boxes. Thank you to all the families who have put time and effort into creating these boxes, it has been wonderful hearing your children talk about things that are special to them and share what they have been up to during the summer. If you have not yet made one, please feel free to bring something in for your child to share with their class.
Just a reminder that PE will take place on a Wednesday and all children will need a full PE kit to take part (not pumps). Please label all items of your child’s kit and uniform as this will make it easier locating any lost items of clothing and we can ensure your child goes home in the right stuff!
Remember, I am always happy to chat either before school opens in the morning or after you collect your child if you have any concerns or questions.
