Welcome back Year 6 Maple

Welcome back after the Easter Holidays Year 6 Maple! We hope you have all had an enjoyable rest.

As we return to school, we would like to welcome Miss Wynn to our class. She will be our Teaching Assistant until the end of the school year.

Our subjects for this half term will be:

RE – Humanism

RHE – Changing relationships and thinking about moving to High School

Spanish – Creating a weather report

History – The Stone Age

Science – Evolution and Inheritance, linking to our History topic

Art – Cave paintings and using different media to create fossils

DT – Making Stone Age jewellery

A Stone Age non fiction book will be sent home each Monday for the children to read and explore, building up their knowledge of this subject. Please can this be returned by the Thursday.

Homework will begin again this Friday (23rd April). Please can the children complete this, on SeeSaw, by the Monday. Spellings will continue to be given out on the Monday, and tested on the Friday.
