Welcome back to a busy but fun filled half term :)

Welcome back Everyone! We hope that you have enjoyed a lovely half term. We have been very impressed with how well the children have settled back into our daily routines after the break that they have had.

We have lots of exciting things planned for this half term including our stay and play Xmas Mix-Up sessions and the Nursery Xmas Sing-A-Long. We will send out letters with further details about both events. It is a busy but very fun and magical time of the year and we can’t wait to spend it with your children.

This half term our topic will be called Winter Wonderland. We have attached the newsletter below which will outline the different things that will be covered. If you have any questions at all please do not hesitate to ask. As you are aware we also have a Nursery notice board (located near the Nursery door). Please continue to check this as we update it regularly to let you know what we have been up to, which will allow you to talk about experiences with your child. We are looking forward to meeting personally with parents during our parent meetings which will be held on Tuesday 13th November. Parent meetings will need to be booked and a letter will be sent out shortly.

AUTUMN 2 NEWSLETTER WINTER WONDERLAND 2018

Winter-Wonderland

In Early Years children learn through play based activities both inside and outside the classroom regardless of the Great British weather. As the temperature is now dropping please could we ask that all children come to school wearing a warm coat and that legs are covered. Joggers are ideal for this time of year but if you do wish for your child to wear a skirt then these should be worn with warm tights. It would be great if the children could also wear a winter hat to school everyday. We can then keep them in the group boxes and return them each day. Please could we also remind parents that long hair must be tied up each day to prevent any unwanted visitors as much as possible. If you haven’t done so already, please send in a pair of wellington boots that can be kept in school.
