Welcome Back Nursery!

Welcome Back Nursery!

Welcome back to our Nursery children and grown ups. We hope you have all had a lovely half term holiday.

In the second half of our Spring term, we will be learning about ‘People who Help Us’. This allows the children to explore different occupations through play, focused activities and visits from people in our community.

On Friday 1st March, we will be learning all about the Hindu Festival of Holi, which is also known as the ‘Festival of Colour’. We will be doing lots of fun science experiments and art activities linked to this colourful day.

We also will be taking part in World Book Day on Thursday 7th March, where the children are invited to dress up as any character from their favourite book.

On the 11th, 13th and 14th March, we will be visiting St Andrews Methodist Church, in groups of 10. Whilst there, we will be focusing on the topic of ‘People who care about us’ through crafts and bible stories. We will also get a chance to look around the church. If any Parents, Carers, Grandparents etc are interested in coming to any of these visits, please let one of the Nursery Staff know.

Below is our half termly newsletter outlining the learning focuses for this half term.
