Spanish Launch Day

Spanish Launch Day

Hola! Today St Andrews had our Spanish Launch Day, a day to celebrate us beginning to learn a new language – Spanish.

We explored the culture of Spain and began to learn new vocabulary through a range of different activities. We sang the Spanish National Anthem, joined in with Spanish Dancing and played Spanish music. We explored the art of Salvador Dali, sang the days of the week and made Spanish flag bunting to decorate the school hall.

The day was finished with a Spanish Fiesta, where we tried calamari, Spanish tortilla, Churros, patatas bravas, paella and lots more.

For more photographs and videoes, please visit St Andrews Twitter Page.

Next week we will be beginning our Spanish Lessons, learning how to introduce and talk about ourselves, understand others and have conversations in this new exciting language.
