This week we have been learning about our bodies. We started the week off with an old classic ‘Funny Bones’. We learnt to join in with the repeated refrains at the beginning and the end of the story. We also learnt the ‘Funny Bones’ song and performed it for our grown-ups on See-Saw.
We created our own skeletons using cotton buds…
We drew around each other’s bodies and phonetically labelled our body parts such as: leg, foot and head. We then decorated our drawn around friends in rainbow colours.
We have been using our senses to taste and describe food…we wrote some descriptive words and pulled funny faces when we tasted the zesty lemon.
