Nursery’s Visit to St Andrews Methodist Church

Nursery’s Visit to St Andrews Methodist Church

This week the Nursery children have been on their first visit to St Andrews Methodist Church. Some of our Parents, Carers and Grandparents came too.

While we were at the Church, Naomi was our guide and she helped us to explore this special building and think about people who care about us – This aims to link with our current Nursery topic ‘People who help us.’

Naomi told us a bible story using puppets and props, we enjoyed a stained glass window craft and explored the prayer room and the Sanctuary. Lots of us had questions about the different sized crosses in the church – We counted them and found 4 all together.

We are looking forward to lots more visits to the Church throughout our time at St Andrews School.
