Welcome back Nursery.

Well, the Easter break is over and we are finally back in school. All of the Nursery staff hope that you have had a fabulous break (we also hope that Easter bunny has visited).

This week we have been revisiting the topic ‘3D and 2D shapes’. We have been ‘shape shopping’ this was so much fun. We shopped around school, taking our shopping bags to find different shaped objects. Take a look at some of the things we found…

Maxim was very observant and found an orange that was the shape of a sphere…fantastic work Maxim.

Niall did some fantastic work too, he found a coin that has a face shaped like a circle.

This week we have also been learning about Spring, to start our topic off we made our very own cress head and labelled it too. We discussed the life cycle of a plant and we are going to look after our cress heads and watch them grow.

Ava has planted her cress and labelled her pot with her nam and the wor ‘cress head’. Super cursive writing Ava.

Emilia has labelled her cress head with the word ‘cress’. Your writing looks wonderful Emilia, well done.
