Take a look at our busy week in Nursery!

We have been very busy this week. We have been making special shortbread biscuits for Valentines Day. We took these home to give to someone!

We have also been learning about pictograms and tally charts. We have all been on a Valentines hunt, we searched for love hearts and made a pictogram. We then discussed the information that the graph showed us, estimated which was the biggest and smallest and used our counting skills to count the hearts.

Take a look at the tally chart that we have completed as a class. This one was based on a class vote to choose our favourite fruit.

As we are breaking up for half term, we had a vote for the treat we would want on the last day…ice pops won!
