IDAHOTB Day is today!

If you are wondering what IDAHOTB day is, it stands for International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia and is a day when, all over the world, people unite to say that the bullying, discrimination or harassment of LGBT+ people is wrong.

Here, at St Andrews, we take the importance not only of valuing and including all people, very seriously, but also we see it as important to celebrate who were are. To mark IDAHOTB day, the school council have been running a poster competition – the closing date is today. Posters celebrating LGBT+ identities and standing up against bullying have been pouring into my office all week and they look AMAZING! It’s going to be a very difficult job judging this – something the school council will be doing tomorrow.

Keep an eye out to see who the winners are!
