Hola! Ciao! Bonjour!

Hola! Ciao! Bonjour!

Reception had a wonderful time celebrating International Languages Day on Friday.

We teamed up with Nursery and turned our classrooms into Spain and Italy. In Spain, we made shakers and in Italy, we made pizzas! We then used our shakers in a Spanish dance to ‘Y Viva Espana’!!

Then during the afternoon (in between the rain!) we took part in the Tour De France! The children put on their helmets, got on one of our bikes to race against each other, whilst spectators waved their hand made French flags to show their support!

We also had an email from Mrs Gibbons relatives all the way from France…

Miss Storey read it to us in French and translated it back into English! We found this very funny!! It says…

Hello Miss Storey & Reception. We live in Azay in France. The weather is nice here today. I hope that the weather is good for your Tour De France this afternoon. Good luck with the Tour de France. I have attached a photo of our garden and a beach close to our home.
