Happy Summer Holidays Year 2…

Dear Y2 Parents/Carers,

Well, the year has finally drawn to an end and the summer holidays are upon us! Where has this year gone?!

First of all, I just want to thank all of our families- on behalf of myself and the other Y2 members of staff- for all of the lovely cards and gifts that we have received so far. We are very spoilt teachers and your generosity has been greatly appreciated.

Also, I just want to say that it has been a pleasure working with the children for the past two years- I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching this class. I know they are going to make fabulous Year 3’s. Equally, I would like to thank yourselves for all of your help, support and dedication that you have shown during your child’s time in the infants, again it has been greatly appreciated.

I would like to finish by saying that I hope you all have a wonderful and relaxing summer time. School will reopen at 8:55am on Wednesday 4th September 2018 – the children do now know where they must line-up on the first day back in order to enter the Y3 cloakroom, as we have been practising this in class. Please remember to send in PE kits on the first day back that are clearly labelled with your child’s full name.

I will hopefully be returning to visit school in the Autumn Term (with Baby Gomm as promised) to see how the children are settling into ‘junior life’ and look forward to hearing all about their holidays.

Have fun…

Mrs Gomm
