On Tuesday morning, and with great excitement, parents entered the hall to meet with their children. The Family Learning event focused on celebrating British Science Week 2017 and had been gratefully supported by a British Science Association grant.
The interest, excitement and atmosphere in the hall was electric. Children moved swiftly from activity to activity making a range of scientific discoveries and working toys. The seven activities included chromatography patterns, mini hover crafts, light changing beads, making periscopes, exploding pots, making bouncy balls and light sensitive paper patterns.
Feedback was positive and a good time was had by all.
