It’s Time For Africa…

Wow what a busy few weeks we’ve had in Y1 learning all about Africa! The children have learnt lots of new facts about the continent!

First, the children gave a fantastic performance of Giraffes Can’t Dance in the hall for our class assembly- well done Y1!

Then to top the end of the week, we had a guest visit from our good friend- Mawuli, who told us what life in an African village was really like from first-hand experience. The children thoroughly enjoyed trying on his traditional African clothes and learning how to create African music..
