On Wednesday 19th October we will be having a special tea and toast event for all our parents. We will be talking about internet safety and how we can help our children to stay safe. There will be hot drinks, juice and toast and all donations will go to support the NSPCC. There will also be a small raffle with some great family prizes.
We have been focusing a lot on how we can help our children to stay safe this term. This week, the NSPCC will be coming in to speak to our children, and I have been running a special Barnardo’s programme called ‘Real Love Rocks’ with Year 6. It is such an important subject, I’m sure you will agree, and it is vital that parents and school work together to help teach our children how they can stay safe and what to do when they are worried. Therefore, the ‘Tea and Toast’ event will be an opportunity for you, as parents and carers, to come and talk about these issues, learn about internet safety and about who can offer support.
Hope to see you there!
