I have attached some activities for today…
For phonics today, spread lots of sugar, salt or shaving foam, write and discuss different letters and words.
Bug stamping! Basically using a balloon stamp the body parts and then draw on the legs. Discuss how many legs each insect has and encourage your child to draw the correct amount to match.
If you have a fly swatter, all you need is some paint and then you can do some fly swatter painting! This will be a good activity to develop gross motor skills and hand eye co-ordination.
Please remember to practise writing names, numbers and cvc words and also make the most of this weather!
