How lovely has the weather been? I hope you are enjoying the time in your gardens. Here are some activities that you can do outside…
Draw, print or use real-life objects for 3D shapes, place the shapes around your garden and children have to hop, skip or jump to the objects.
I have also found this fine motor activity which I thought was good. Using string on a twig you can thread leaves that find lying around outdoors.
For phonics hide around outside lots of letters (s,a,t,p,i,n). Children have to go on a hunt, collect them all and sort them into categories. Please encourage your child to pronounce the sounds correctly and question them to see if they know anything that begins with those letters.
As it is nearly Easter, you could also make Easter cards.
Have a great day and enjoy the weather.
