For maths today I thought it would be a lovely idea to make a keepsake. Basically, measure your child using string, discuss how long they and then get your child to add a tag like the one above. Afterwards, you could continue to measure different things and discuss the different lengths.

For phonics, make a blending line using string and sticks and then put different letters on using pegs. Encourage your child to blend the words.

For the creative activity, you could make a homemade bird feeder. Cut up a plastic drinks tub, glue and stick different things onto it and then hang it up in the garden with bird food inside.
