Hello, I hope you are all keeping well. I have attached some ideas for activities today…
For phonics, I thought that you could write lots of different letters on paper and some words. Then, children have to find the letters to match to make the words.
If you have any playdough, you could make some bugs out of it.
For maths I thought maybe your child could draw some different length bugs or you could draw them. Next, using different objects such as small bricks, 1p coins or even odd buttons your child can measure the bugs with them. Discuss how many objects each one uses and work out which is the longest and shortest.
