This week’s spelling focus…

Hello Y2 Parents/Carers!

Just a quick blog to remind you all that on Friday (15th September) , we will be hosting our first spelling task of the year. I sent home the spelling list with homework last Friday, however if you require another copy, then please do let me know and I can get one to you.

This week’s focus is- Days of the Week. Please can I ask that your child is encouraged to spell the day names accurately with the correct use of the capital letter- the children have been learning that all proper nouns (specific name words) begin with a capital. It is important that practising is short but often, until they are secure with their spelling precision.
