World Book Day in Year 4
Year 4 had great fun celebrating World Book Day with the rest of the school. In the week leading up to ‘the big day’, all of Key Stage 2 wrote part of a pirate story. Then, on World Book Day, we turned our part of the story into a stage production, just like authors’ such as David Walliams and JK Rowling.
Finally, donning our World Book Day outfits, we performed our part of the story, alongside the other Key Stage 2 classes, for the younger children. It was amazing to see our story come to life.
The rest of the day consisted of writing book reviews, using the SeeSaw app, for David Walliams’ book ‘The Slightly Annoying Elephant.’ Next week we will be editing them and then putting them onto the review section on Amazon.
