WELL DONE YR 1!

What a wonderful week we have had in Year 1 this week! The children have enjoyed learning all about Handa’s Surprise. This week, Miss Greenhalgh brought in some of the fruits from the book which we tried. We then came up with adjectives to describe each fruit. The children really enjoyed experimenting with new foods.

We would also like to thank you for all the support you have given us in the preparation and rehearsals leading up to our special assembly. The children have worked so hard and were very excited about their families to come and watch them. I must say they really were a bunch of superstars today!
