Wow what an amazing assembly Year 4 performed today!
With Mothering Sunday approaching, over the last couple of weeks, we looked at people who are close to us and how they are our heroes.
We discussed how our families are different,
“ Some people have two Mums or Dads. “
“ Some people have an Auntie if they don’t have a mum or a dad. “
“ Some people might give their Mother’s Day cards to their Dads.”
“ Some people have foster parents”
We also discussed how family play an important part in the Bible and how the 10 commandments tell Christians to ‘Honour your Father and Mother.’
We put all these ideas together, wrote Poems and performed an Amazing Assembly.
