More excitement in Y6 this week as we hunted for the door to the secret garden! The robin led the way and left us some special eggs! Year 6 adapted a chapter from the novel and wrote, directed and acted out their own playscripts (with the headteacher playing a cameo role!). The unit of literacy work around The Secret Garden culminated in today’s writing assessment of letter from the main character. All the children wrote well and displayed some stunning use of language and imagination. Year 6 really enjoyed the art activity this week, Mrs Zaidi taught them how to sculpt and make Viking artefacts. What a busy week it has been- and fantastic attendance too! Enjoy your half term.
