On Friday 24th November, 9-10.30am, we will be holding a coffee morning to introduce parents and governors to the work we are doing in order to achieve our Rainbow Flag Award.
The Rainbow Flag Award is given to schools who meet certain criteria regarding preventing homophobic and transphobic bullying and who are working to make their schools places where people from all backgrounds and identities can be celebrated and welcomed equally.
We will be joined, on our coffee morning, by Rachel Williams from the Proud Trust – www.theproudtrust.org
The coffee morning will be an opportunity for parents and governors to hear about what we are doing and to hear, from Rachel, what some of the issues are. It will also be an opportunity for parents and governors to ask questions and find out more about what this means for our school.
Do come along – it will be completely free and there will be cake!
