Today is International Day of Peace and to mark this, we invited the Red Cross to come and talk to our Year 6 children about what it was to be a refugee, asylum seeker or migrant, so that we could all understand more about the issues some people face. The workshop was very informative and the children discussed many issues such as where they would like to live and why, and what they would take with them if they had to leave their home very quickly. A big thank you to the Red Cross for coming to talk to our children!
