As you are aware the children have been learning about minibeasts. Not only have we been practising for our assembly – learning our dance, remembering our words and where we have to go, but we have also been busy completing our challenges and joining in with every day routines.
Our phonics challenge was to build words using the phoneme blocks, we focuses on the sounds we learnt during phonics.
Our finger gym challenge was practicing weaving wool to make a web.
The maths challenge was to buy things from the shop and add two items together and find the correct coins.
We also practiced writing our full name (first name and surname).
