Year 6 Maple are very excited as they are about to embark on a Pen Pal Project with a class of 11 year olds from Santo Tomás de Aquino in Inca, Majorca.
We will be practising and improving our Spanish speaking and writing skills in this meaningful way; sharing letters, emails, photographs and videos.
In the coming weeks, we will also be skyping our new penpals, aiming to find out more about Spanish culture first-hand, compare our lives with our own.
This week, we are going to begin this experience by writing letters introducing ourselves, alongside a short video.
