Last week we had lots of fun caring for our ten class chicks. The names of our 10 chicks (chosen by the children) are as follows:
1.) Baby 6.) Ryder
2.) Chase 7.) Jack
3.) Huggle 8.) Rubble
4.) Thomas 9.) Sky
5.) Bushy 10.) Flash
We made the chicks some toast and then observed the chicks moving around and eating. This raised lots of questions from the children. Here are some examples of the great questions that they asked.
Kaden asked “How do chickens lay eggs?”
Emily asked “How do they eat food?”
Isobella asked ” How do they grow their legs?”
Daisy asked ” How do chicks fly?”
