We have been celebrating and learning about the traditional day ‘Mothering Sunday’, otherwise known as ‘Mother’s Day’. We have learnt about cultural traditions around the world on this special day too. We learnt that it not just a day for Mums but for our Aunties and Grandmas too.
We have written our Special people independent cards and certificates in the writing area, measured ourselves in maths and used the string as a Mother’s Day keepsake and we have been busy drawing people we love too. We have been doing independent observational drawings too.
