Some of our children have been knitting away every week in order to produce some fantastic items just in time for Christmas. As you can see from the pictures below, they have made some beautiful Christmas trees and teddy bears. Apparently the pattern for the Christmas tree was particularly challenging, with children having to restart several times in order to get it right. Well done for persevering – the final results have been worth it!
A big thank you also to Mrs Henshaw, who comes in every Monday to run the knitting club at lunchtime, which is always very popular. We are very lucky at St Andrews to have such brilliant volunteers who give up their time to help the children in many different ways.
