We have been learning about the legendary tale behind the Chinese New Year. We have been re-enacting the race and we have been preparing our very first assembly based on the Chinese New Year.
In class we have been learning that this year is the year of the rabbit. Take a look at our rabbit silhouette paintings.
We have also been writing for a purpose, we wrote some of the ingredients that we need to make our own sweet & sour stir-fry…we then chopped our vegetables and ate our finished product…which was yummy.
We also made a Chinese dragon and paraded around the school through all of the classrooms playing instruments and dancing.
We cannot wait to perform our assembly next week. 😊
