What a lovely week we have had in school! All the children have been enjoying the sunshine, which made events such as the Worsley Sports’ Competition even more enjoyable. Thank you to those of you who came along to support our competitors.
Yesterday we had a special Achievement Assembly and I was inundated with trophies, medals and certificates to present to our wonderful children.
We also held a minutes silence, with the rest of Manchester, to remember and pray for the victims of the terror attack on Monday. The children observed the silence respectfully and then sang their hearts out as we joined together in our school song, “Together as One.”
Today’s Family Assembly, written and led by Year 6, was a happy and lively end to the half term. I hope the lovely weather holds for the coming week and I wish you all an enjoyable time with your families.
