Bonfire Week

This week we have been thinking about bonfire night and fireworks. On Thursday, a fireman came in specially, to set off fireworks for a display. Before watching it, we learnt all about bonfire safety from Fireman Sam.

Then, once outside, we stood a sensible distance away from the fireworks. We loved watching them, while eating the firework biscuits and breadstick sparklers we had made.

Now we knew what fireworks looked like, we made a firework picture in groups, exploring what happens when we mix primary colours. We also created our own bonfire pictures.
