What a week we’ve had in Year 2 Rainbows!
On Monday, we, very excitedly, put on our coats for a special expedition to the Arctic to see the Northern Lights! The light show was amazing and lots of ‘wows’ and ‘oohs’ could be heard 🙂 We learnt lots of facts about them and created our own art using chalks and pastels. We even used the 2Paint a Picture program on the laptops to create our own Northern Lights pictures. (Sorry there are no photos of this – we were having too much fun!)
In Numeracy, we have been learning about Fractions. We are all brilliant at finding a fraction of a number and now we are working on fractions of shapes.
