Hello
The children have all had a super week in school. They have particularly enjoyed writing their play script for the Remembrance Assembly. The play was based on the poem by Rudyard Kipling ‘My Boy Jack’. After the 1st draft, the children in groups acted out particularly scenes to ensure the dialogue and stage directions provided the chosen impact for their audience. Edits were made and performed to groups of children in the class, who then evaluated the effectiveness of both the drama and dialogue.
Parts were chosen by the children and everyone really enjoyed performing their own work.
Well done to all children in Year 6.
