London’s burning Photographs!
WOW! What a morning- year two were very lucky and got to watch a live reenactment of the fire of London. Fire officer Mr Anderson came to school and set up a mock Pudding Lane using Year 2 children’s houses. The children pretended to be villagers and then when Mr Anderson shouted ‘get your buckets’ the children had to pass cups of water down a line as quickly and carefully as they could. Mr Anderson then poured it on the fire. It was just like 1666!
The children behaved perfectly and were full of excitement it was a wonderful experience for them all! A huge thank you to Mr Anderson!
