Make natural pictures with materials from a walk or even in your garden
Use masking tape to make sound boxes. Children can make different words up by putting letters in each section.
Read the story ‘Stick Man’ and make your own Stick Man, using branches and cotton.
Freeze letters and let your child explore how to melt the ice to recover the letters. Discuss what letters you find and make cvc words with them.
