Hi everyone. I hope you enjoyed the sun yesterday. Hopefully, today the weather will be nice so you can go on a walk and collect lots of different, natural objects to make shapes with. Use various objects to create different shapes and discuss how many sides and corners they have.
For todays phonics you could draw your own sound sheet, roll a dice if you have one and colour the letter that represents the number on the dice. If you do not have a dice you could simply put numbers 1-6 face down and turn one number over and colour the corresponding letter. Please encourage your child to sound out the letters correctly. To help with the pronunciation of the sounds, go onto YouTube and sing the Jolly Phonics phase two sounds.
I thought this activity for fine motor would be fun, engaging and easy to create at home too.
Enjoy your day,
Miss Smith
