We would like to start by saying a big HELLO! to all of our lovely new parents and children. We welcome you to our school and hope that you have all had a wonderful summer holiday.
We are really looking forward to working with you all and are excited for the year ahead. We value your support as parents and aim to develop strong links between home and school. We encourage you to visit our school website and to view our class blog weekly so that you can keep up to date with everything that is going on and find out about all the exciting things that your child has been doing throughout each week.
Below is an outline of the organisation/times etc for the next few weeks:
Wednesday 5th/ Thursday 6th/ Friday 7th September- No Nursery children are in school. A class teacher and teaching assistant will carry out home visits for booked visits.
Week beginning Monday 10th September- All Nursery children start school on a part-time basis. Your child will either be completing a morning session (9.00-11.30) or an afternoon session (1.00-3.15pm). Please check your child’s starting pattern letter to see which session they are to attend.
Week beginning Monday 17th September- Children will attend part-time for a morning or afternoon session. Please check your child’s starting pattern letter to see which session they are to attend.
Week beginning Monday 24th September- Children will attend school full-time (9.00-3.15pm) and will have a school dinner in the hall. It is sometimes necessary for individual children to remain part-time. If this is the case this will be discussed with parents before this date.
Below we have attached a copy of the Nursery Welcome letter and our Autumn 1 Topic Letter. We hope that you enjoy finding out about some of the things that your child will be learning about this half term.

If you have any further questions about anything at all, please do not hesitate to ask any of the Nursery staff.
We look forward to seeing you all on Monday 10th September. Parents are invited to come into Nursery with the children for the first 15 minutes during the first week if you wish to in order to help the children to settle into their new environment.
Many Thanks
