Last week, Miss Jones and I took a group of Y5 pupils to represent our school at the very first Manchester Youth Peace Forum. It was an amazing day, as the children listened to a diverse range of speakers and attended workshops. These included police officers who had supported with the aftermath of the Manchester Arena Attack, workers from the Tim Parry Jonathan Ball Foundation for Peace in Warrington and members of the Muslim and LGBT communities.
We were so impressed by the maturity and contributions of our pupils- well done to Jessica Williams, William Broome, Summer Bird, Sheridan Campbell and Izzey Walsh!
Below is a link to a video of the day. Enjoy!
