Red Cross Visit to Year 6

This week the Red Cross visited Year 6 to talk about why some people in this world have to or choose to leave where they live. The children participated well and by the end of the session they had a good understanding about the differences of asylum seekers, refugees and migrants.  This topic was discussed further as part of Year 6’s PSHE lesson.

Please take the opportunity to talk to your children about this visit.

Have a good weekend,

Mrs Hodgkinson
