First Two Weeks Full Time :)

We would like to say how impressed we have been with the children staying full days and for dinner over the last couple of weeks. We understand that each child is starting a unique journey with us. Some children have attended other settings before whilst for others this is the very first place that they have been.ย They are all settling well into our St Andrew’s routines and we are really proud of them ๐Ÿ™‚

Each day we will continue to put the daily menu up in the Nursery window then you can have a look what choices the children have had that day. This can also help to aid discussion between you and your child. The Nursery staff go into the school hall with the children to help them to make a choice (which is very hard with all the yummy food on offer!) and encourage the children to say Please and Thank you to the dinner time staff. We have already received comments about the childrens’ lovely manners. The staff also closely monitor how the children are doing with their eating. If we feel that your child has not eaten enough be assured that we will always let you know. The children also have access to daily snack of milk and fruit and fresh water is provided throughout the day.

Before going into the hall we always go to the toilet and wash our hands. We have a special hand washing song that we sing to help us.
